AFW item list describes the object as a Bronze lion mask, ring mouth, iron rivets, tooled work red and sage pat, similar to B.M's from Aleppo.

The Arnold Forrester Warden Collection.
It was reported that Arnold Forrester Warden had died recently and that his widow would like to leave his collections of Oriental, African, and Greek and Roman antiquities to the museum. It was agreed to place the whole collection on temporary exhibition in May and June and to examine it all with a view ti finding a permanent home for it.
